Our Commitment
We are actively working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technologies.
Current Status
We conducted a full accessibility audit of this website in June 2026 and have remediated all identified issues. The following improvements were completed on June 24, 2026:
- Skip navigation link added as the first focusable element on every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass the navigation menu and jump directly to main content
- Main content landmark (
role="main") properly implemented so screen reader users can navigate directly to page content - Social media links (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) labeled with descriptive accessible names
- Primary navigation labeled with
aria-labelfor screen reader landmark navigation - Mobile navigation drawer labeled and keyboard-accessible
- Dropdown menus built with correct ARIA menu patterns including
aria-haspopup,aria-expanded,aria-controls, andaria-labelon all menu containers - Form inputs on all newsletter and subscription forms given proper associated labels
- Heading structure corrected to a logical H1 → H2 hierarchy throughout the page, with no skipped levels
- All images given meaningful, descriptive alt text
- Submit buttons on all forms given accessible labels
Conformance Status
This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We conducted a live DOM-level audit using browser-based accessibility inspection tools on June 24, 2026.
